Developing a Personal + Integrated Yoga Practice
An evening of Viniyoga with Elizabeth Miller, ERYT 500, YACEP
Viniyoga is an ancient Sanskrit term that implies differentiation, adaptation, and appropriate application. This means using asana (postures + movement), pranayama (breathing practices), meditation, personal ritual and the study of texts to create an individualized and personalized yoga practice. These tools of yoga provide the means to bring out the best in each practitioner. Just as every person is unique, these aspects will also be unique and evolve over time as we practice. We will deepen our understanding of what it means to have an integrated practice and to evolve that practice over time.
This evening workshop will include both lecture and practice. Please come prepared to learn while sitting as well as while moving! All are welcome. Elizabeth has over 20 years of experience in the yoga world and provides a gentle, yet powerful, approach to leading students into self-acceptance and the recognition of our innate sacred perfection.
