About Sandy Booth

Sandy Booth is an RYT 200, but has logged 300 Teacher Training Hours and has six years of teaching experience. After her first yoga class sparked a curiosity to learn more, she began yoga teacher training at Balanced Yoga in Columbus, Ohio in 2011 and completed the program in 2012. Her training is alignment-based and Vinyasa focused, with additional work in Restorative and Hatha yoga.  She’s also completed coursework in BodyReading and Gait Analysis through Anatomy Trains.  Her teaching style is instructional and encouraging which allows her students to

Sandy is inspired by the energy of the group dynamic in a class setting, and yet personalizing the practice to each student through modifications for individual needs.

Favorite place in Zanesville & why?
Being in nature inspires me, so hiking or walking outside are my favorite activities, besides yoga of course! I live close to Dillon State Park and I love to hike the trails there or walk my dogs along the water. I call it my “breathing space”.

Least favorite yoga pose & why?
It might sound crazy, but it has taken me a really long time to not dread triangle pose.  I’m beginning to make friends with it, and have begun to include it more in my personal practice.
