About Jan Holbein
Jan has been a student of yoga since 2001 and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. In 2006 she completed her 200 hour Ashtanga Vinyasa and Hatha yoga training at It’s Yoga studio, in Grandview, Ohio. For the past 15 years Jan has worked in the field of education and has used yoga as a way to find stress relief from the professional world. Her goal is to share the powerful stress relief and wellness practices that are accessible to everybody regardless of age or fitness ability. In addition, Jan is certified as a Yoga Ed. Instructor /Teacher Trainer, Reiki Practitioner, and Orientation and Mobility Instructor. Join her on the mat to experience the contentment that results from a balanced mind, body, and soul.
Favorite place in Zanesville and why?
Anywhere I’m surrounded by family and friends, although, I really enjoy being at home with a good book at the end of a day!
Least favorite yoga pose and why?
Warrior 1- sometimes the most basic yoga pose can feel uncomfortable while the more challenging poses feel great. That’s the beauty of yoga, it’s about how you feel in your body and learning to accept it as it is each day.
